CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES Wednesday, November 11, 2020 Council Assembly Room 5:00 PM 70 S. Clayton St, GA 30046 Call to Order PRESENT Mayor David Still Council Member Glenn Martin Council Member Victoria Jones Mayor Pro Tem Bob Clark ABSENT Council Member Keith Roche Prayer Mayor Still led the group in prayer. Pledge of Allegiance Mayor Still led the group in the Pledge of Alligiance. Agenda Additions / Deletions Motion to approve agenda as presented made by Mayor Pro Tem Clark, Seconded by Council Member Jones. Voting Yea: Mayor Still, Council Member Martin, Council Member Jones, Mayor Pro Tem Clark Discussion of General City Business 1. Ratification of Service Contracts from Verizon to AT&T FirstNet Police Chief, Tim Wallis, delivered the presentation. Consent item #1 2. Motorola Subscriber Radios Purchase with Smart Connect Consent item #2 3. Gwinnett Metro Task Force Memorandum of Agreement Consent item #3 4. Purchase of (2) two TactiTrack 32 Covert GPS Tracker Systems, along with (1) one-year unlimited Tracking and Alerts, Charging Kit and shipping Consent item #4 5. Purchase of 1286 Covert Concealment System and Budget Amendment 211-11-11-2020 Consent item #5 6. Contract with Blue Line Solutions for Automated Speed Enforcement Cameras with Flock Safety Cameras in School Zones Police Captain Tawnya Gilovanni delivered the presentation. Cam Reed, owner of Blue Line, also came up and spoke. Placed on the November 18th Regular Meeting. 7. Purchase of Emergency Equipment for New Police Vehicles Consent item #6 8. In-Car Cameras for New Police Vehicles Consent item #7 9. HVAC Systems Service on an Annual Contract Consent item #8 10. Cramac Subdivision Replacement of Underground Primary Conductor and Transformer Project Assistant City Manager Barry Mock delivered the presentation as well as Electric Director, Chris Ridings. Consent item #9 11. 230 Sarah Lane Storm Drain Replacement Project Consent item #10 12. 520 Wayside Drive Storm Drain Replacement Project Consent item #11 13. Stone Mountain Street Gas Line Relocation Project Consent item #12 14. Intergovernmental Agreement with Gwinnett County for Clayton-Nash Signal Consent item #13 Executive Session - Personnel, Litigation, Real Estate Motion to enter Executive Session made by Mayor Pro Tem Clark, Seconded by Council Member Martin.
