CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES Wednesday, October 13, 2021 Council Assembly Room 5:00 PM 70 S. Clayton St, GA 30046 Call to Order PRESENT Mayor David Still Council Member Glenn Martin Mayor Pro Tem Victoria Jones Council Member Bob Clark Council Member Keith Roche Bicentennial Fact Mayor Still delivered the Bicentennial Fact. He read, "A photographer climbed to the upper reaches of the school on the hill to capture 1908 Lawrenceville on film Oak Street is in the foreground and the numbers superimposed on the photograph indicated information on each building. There are too many data points to deliver here, but take a look at item 8. This second slide shows the Gwinnett 1885 Courthouse. The cupola you see was replaced with the now familiar clock tower at the end of 1908 when this picture was taken. Additions to the Pike Street side of the courthouse were made in 1935." This picture and is from the Vanishing Georgia Collection of the Georgia Department of Archives and History. You can also see it on page 43 in W. Lauren Blaszyk, project manager from Pond and Company presented, as well as Geoff Koski, President of KB Advisory Group. This item will be placed on the October 25th Regular Meeting.  6.
