Clayton St, GA 30046 Call to Order Chairman Merritt called the meeting to order at 6:34 pm after recognizing a quorum. Approval of March 2021 Treasurer’s Report Motion to table the March 2021 Treasurer's Report made by Board Member Jones, Seconded by Board Member Perry Ward. Approval of April 2021 Treasurer’s Report Board Member Fellows, Treasurer of the DDA reviewed the April 2021 Treasurer's Report with the Board. Lose Design Depot Area Masterplan Chairman Merritt reminded the Board that they approved the masterplan for the Depot area to be completed by Lose Design many months ago. It was stalled for various reasons and with all the new ideas coming from the LCI updates it would be good to move forward with the Depot area masterplan simultaneously with the LCI updates. A meeting will be scheduled with Lose Design soon, but not all of the Board will be able to attend to keep under a quorum. Several business owners and others have been asking about the future plans for this area. It is nice there is a high level of interest in the area. 7. LCI Update – website and questionnaire Chairman Merritt mentioned that the Board members should have received an email regarding the LCI update. LCI stands for Livable Centers Initiative. This is a many month long process. Pond Associates is walking the City through this process and it is completed every five years. Barry Mock encouraged the Board to pass the emailed information along to others. Mainstreet Business Jasmine Billings encouraged the Board to share the LCI information with family and friends in Lawrenceville. On April 17th the City will be hosting Roadsters & Rescues. Clayton Street will be closed for multiple classic and specialty vehicles being shown. There will be bands on the Lawrenceville Lawn stage, cornhole on the Lawrenceville Lawn and food trucks in the area. We are still encouraging social distancing and keeping to the standards for health and safety guidelines from the CDC. Social is an expansion from Cosmos Pizza. Social will be more upscale, feature music, specialty meals, etc. It is set to open in the next few months. Other Business There were no other business items.
