We (Events Team) are currently at the Southeast Festival Events Association Conference with hopes of bringing back awards for the great events we host throughout the year. 2. The first 6-month calendar has been released with the remaining calendar being released later this Spring. This allows for the events team to firm up certain details like timeframes, partners, etc. allowing flexibility and better communication of events. 3. Façade Grant Application has been shared with DDA reps: Board Member Chris Adams and Board Member Jeremy Higginbotham, with the hopes to meet soon and discuss any updates needed based on last year. 4. Upcoming event: 1. Black History Month Art Exhibit with the theme of Community & Unity is hosted on the Main Level of City Hall featuring artists from the School of the Arts at Central Gwinnett, Discovery High School, and local artist: Myia (pronounced Mya) Page and Dane Caston. This exhibit will be up throughout the month of February. 2. February 29th a double feature Drive-in will take place in the Depot District, featuring LEAP at 6 pm and Leap Year at 8:15 pm.
