New Business SUP2019-00020; 323 East Crogan; Bryan Mathews Motion made to recommend approval of SUP2019-00020 by Board Member Walls, Seconded by Board Member Boutwell. Voting Yea: Board Member Boutwell, Board Member Futch, Board Member Walls, Board Member Nash Staff presented material to the Planning Commission Members and Applicant (Bryan Matthews) regarding the Special Use Permit minimum requirements for Special Events Facilities located outside of the Downtown Overlay District. The following are minimum special use permit requirements for the exemptions set forth in section 4-70(b)(3) and (4). A special use permit for an indoor special event facility shall only be granted to facilities in the downtown overlay district. 3. RZC2019-00009; Sam Sims; 330 Buford Drive Motion made by Board Member Boutwell, Seconded by Board Member Walls.Voting Yea: Board Member Boutwell, Board Member Futch, Board Member Walls, Board Member Nash Applicant may ask Council for relief from the following Staff recommended conditions: PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDED CONDITIONS 2. Provide and maintain a 10-foot enhanced buffer along all property lines. Sparsely vegetated area shall be enhanced. 3. The existing structure shall be brought into compliance with the minimum building codes as set by Article VIII of the Zoning Ordinance and Article VII of the Development Regulations. 4. All parking and driveway surfaces shall be paved and striped to City standards.  5. The property shall have a 10-foot wide landscape strip along the right-of-way fronting Buford Drive except for ingress and egress in compliance with Article VIII of the Development Regulations and subject to the review and approval by the Director of Planning and Development. 6. A five-foot sidewalk shall be installed along Buford Drive. Public Comment To participate in the Public Comment part of the Agenda, you must register prior to noon in the Planning and Zoning Office on Friday before the meeting.
