Consent Agenda
For the benefit of the audience, all matters listed under the consent agenda are considered to be
routine by the pension commission and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate
discussion of these items. If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the consent
agenda prior to roll call and will be considered separately.
1. Consider and take action to approve an application for normal retirement from
Bret Kelley.
2. Consider and take action to approve an application for early retirement from
Michell Rosario.
3. Consider and take action to approve an application for normal retirement from
Julia Greffin.
4. Consider and take action to approve an application for normal retirement from
Frank Land.
5. Receive and consider accepting a Memorandum of Information regarding the
death of retiree Charlene J. Johnson.
6. Receive and consider accepting a Memorandum of Information regarding the
death of retiree Grover Sewell.
7. Receive and consider accepting a Memorandum of Information regarding the
death of retiree Michael Hood.
8. Receive and consider accepting a Memorandum of Information regarding the
death of retiree Francis E. Drapeau.
9. Receive and consider accepting a Memorandum of Information regarding the
death of surviving spouse Judith K. Robertson.
10. Receive and consider accepting a Memorandum of Information regarding the
death of surviving spouse Nellie Mae Dyer.
11. Consider and take action to approve the paid-in-full judgments to be released
from the record.
Business Items
1. Consider and take action to approve the minutes of the January 22, 2026, and
April 23, 2026, meetings.
2. Receive the quarterly report on pension investments from Morgan Stanley.
3. Receive and consider approving the Fourth Quarter Financial Statements of
the City Employees' Retirement System for the period ending June 30, 2026.
4. Receive an update from the Finance Director regarding potential additional
City contributions and long-term funding strategies for the City Employees'
Retirement System.
Adjournment
The City of Lawton encourages participation from all of its citizens. If participation at any
public meeting is not possible due to a disability, notification to the City Clerk at (580) 581-
3305 at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting is encouraged to make the necessary
accommodations. The City may waive the 48 hour rule if interpreters for the deaf (signing) is
