MINUTES FINANCE COMMITTEE MAY 16, 2022 The meeting of the Finance Committee was called to order by Gabe Allen on May 16, 2022 at 4:12 p.m. The meeting was a hybrid meeting with some attendees present in the Johnnie Arolfo Civic Center Room 3 at 400 West Walker Street, League City, Texas and other members of the Committee or the public attending the meeting via videoconference. Present at the meeting were: Gabriel Allen – Committee Chair Angie Steelman – Executive Director of Finance & Project Management Peggy Zahler – Committee Vice Chair *Scott Gruber – Meeder Representative Traci Jacobs – Committee Member Larry Millican - Councilmember Deanna Legge – Committee Member *Michelle Villarreal – Deputy City Attorney Nick Long– Council Representative Kimberly Corell – Director of Finance *Hank Dugie – Council Representative Edward Sellar – Revenue Manager *Zak Kone – Committee Member *Angie Waldon – Executive Assistant *Claudia Restrepo – Expenditure Manager Robert Belt – Belt Harris Pechacek Representative *Virtual Approval of Minutes from the February 21, 2022 Meeting Peggy Zahler made a motion to approve the minutes as presented. Nick Long seconded the motion. The motion passed all-in-favor. Citizen Comments There were no citizen comments. Time for Questions from April 18, 2022 Packet There were no questions or comments. FY22 2nd Quarter Investment Report Scott Gruber presented the FY22 2nd Quarter Investment Report. There were no questions or comments. FY21 ACFR (presented to Council May 10th) Robert Belt presented the ACFR. There were some questions and a lengthy discussion ensued. Points of Action There were no points of action. Staff Comments There were no staff comments. Committee Member Comments There were no committee member comments. Adjournment Deanna Legge made a motion to adjourn. Nick Long seconded the motion.
