1. Call to Order and Roll Call of Members
David Hake, Chair, called the meeting to order at 6:09 p.m.
Present: David Hake, Ric Pearson, Susan Pierce, Roland Bienvenu, Michael Hendershot
(non-voting)
Absent: J’Nean Henderson, Susan Smyer
City Staff: Kris Carpenter, Planning Director; Michelle Villareal, Deputy City Attorney
2. Approval of September 15, 2022 minutes
Mr. Pearson made a motion to approve the minutes.
Ms. Smyer seconded the motion.
The motion passed by a vote of 4-0-0.
3. Citizen Communication
No citizens spoke.
4. New Business
A. Sunset Commission Review
Mr. Hake, Chair and Kris Carpenter, Planning Director, gave a brief overview on behalf of the
City of League City. Mr. Hake informed the Commission that Councilmember, Andy Mann,
was in attendance, if anyone had questions for him in reference to the Sunset Commission
Review.
Discussion took place on each section of the Sunset Commission Self-Assessment
Questionnaire.
5. Commissioner’s Comments
None.
6. Staff Comments
Kris Carpenter, Planning Director, informed the Commissioners that an application is being
submitted and there will be an upcoming meeting in either April or May.
7. Adjournment
Mr. Hake adjourned the meeting at 6:49 p.m.
