LEAGUE CITY LOCAL GOVERNMENT CORPORATION MEETING MINUTES MARCH 9, 2021 The League City Local Government Corporation met in a regular meeting at 400 West Walker, City, Texas on March 9, 2021 at 5: 00 p.m. BOARD OF DIRECTORS: Pat Hallisey, Chair/ President Hank Dugie, Vice ChairNice President Andy Mann, Secretary Kristine Polian, Treasurer Todd Kinsey Larry Millican Greg Gripon Chad Tressler Nick Long 1. CALL TO ORDER AND ROLL CALL OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS Pat Hallisey called the meeting to order at 5: 00 pm and call the roll. All members were present except Mr. Kinsey, Mr. Dugie and Mr. Mann. 2. CONSIDER AND TAKE ACTION ON THE APPROVAL OF MINUTES FOR THE DECEMBER 8. 2020 MEETING The members unanimously approved the minutes from the December 8, 2020 meeting. 3. UPDATE REGARDING IRS DOCUMENTATION AND FILINGS Kristine Polian, Treasurer, gave the following update. The Finance Department has been tasked with filing the necessary paperwork to obtain exempt status. An Employer Tax Identification Number( EIN) is required before exempt status can be submitted, and that application has been submitted. Standard processing time is 45- 60 days, however there continues to be delays because of the COVID- 19 pandemic. Upon receipt of the EIN we will proceed with the application for exempt status. Until that time we are required to file Annual Franchise Tax Reports, and those reports have been filed in compliance with state regulations. 4.
