Walker Street NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with order of the Office of the Governor issued March 16, 2020, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of League City will conduct its Regular Meeting scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on August 17, 2020, by telephone or video conference in order to advance the public health goal of limiting face- to-face meetings (also called “social distancing”) to slow the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). The public may view and listen to the meeting proceedings by accessing this web link: www.leaguecity.com/August17PNZ. Members of the public who wish to offer comments before the meeting to be read aloud during the meeting may use the online comment form at the following link; those who wish to offer comments during the meeting may dial in using the toll-free number shown at the same link: www.leaguecity.com/August17PNZ . A recording of the telephone/video meeting will be available to the public in accordance with the Open Meetings Act upon written request. I. Call to Order and Roll Call of Members II. Citizen Communication The privilege of speaking at this time is limited to the following persons: residents, persons having an ownership interest in property or a business within the City, or their attorneys. A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made. There will be no yielding of time to another person. State law prohibits members of the Planning and Zoning Commission from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. Comments should be directed to the entire Planning and Zoning Commission, not individual members of the Planning and Zoning Commission or staff. If addressing a specific agenda item, speakers must keep their remarks specific to the item being considered by the Planning and Zoning Commission. Any speaker making personal attacks or using vulgar or profane language shall forfeit his/her remaining time and shall be seated. IV. Public Hearing and Action Items A. Hold a public hearing and make a recommendation to City Council on revisions to Chapter 125 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of League City, entitled “Zoning” to revise regulations related to public hearing requirements and to combine multiple sets of regulations into a Unified Development Code (UDC).
