ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL, January 3, 2005 Meeting called to order at 8:15 P.M. Attendance was taken by roll call vote; all members were present. The City Clerk opened nominations for Council President. Councillor Robert Salvatelli was nominated by Councillor Rosa.; seconded by Councillor Lanciani. Councillor Robert Salvatelli was elected Council President by roll call vote. Vt. 9 “yeas” Council President Robert Salvatelli took the chair. Council President Robert Salvatelli opened nominations for Vice- President. Councillor Richard Marchand was nominated Councillor Lanciani; seconded by John Salvatelli. Councillor Richard Marchand was elected Council Vice President by roll call vote. Vt. 9 “yeas” Council President Robert Salvatelli moved that Roberts rules and the City Council Rules of Procedure be adopted with no changes. The Council rules were adopted. Vt. “yeas.” (See next page 2.) Councillor President Robert Salvatelli read and distributed the Committees for 2005. The 2005 Committee’s are as follows.
