RECORD OF PROCEEDINGS; MINUTES OF THE VILLAGE OF LEWISBURG, OHIO,
REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AT 7:00 P.M., APRIL 3, 2025, AT THE LEWISBURG
COMMUNITY CENTER.
The regular meeting of the Village of Lewisburg, Ohio Council was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by
Mayor Dennis Roberts.
ROLL CALL: Eliza Wagoner, Clerk of Council.
PRESENT: Mayor Dennis Roberts, Council Members Marla Colville-Brown, Barb Foster, Mary
Nelson, and Jackie Sewert.
Lori Pheanis and Ted Thies were absent.
Also present were Municipal Manager Jeff Sewert, Fire & EMS Chief Bob Sewert, Police Chief Gary
Parker, and Law Director Steve Hobbs.
Motion to approve the minutes of the March 20, 2025, regular Village Council Meeting. First by Barb
Foster. Second by Mary Nelson. Roll Call Vote: 4 Yes 0 No 1 Abstain (Marla Colville-Brown).
Motion approved.
Motion to approve the check disbursement report. First by Mary Nelson. Second by Marla Colville-
Brown. Roll Call Vote: 5 Yes 0 No. Motion approved.
Motion to approve the purchase order report. First by Barb Foster. Second by Jackie Sewert. Roll
Call Vote: 5 Yes 0 No. Motion approved.
CITIZENS: None.
MAYOR: None.
LEGAL: Law Director Hobbs stated that the 40/Shields Rd. property closing was completed, the
closing on the Webster property will be in the near future, there is a meeting scheduled with the Port
Authority, bank, and attorneys to discuss the brewery property, and all carry-out liquor licenses are
currently up for renewal.
MUNICIPAL MANAGER: Manager Sewert shared about the Circus on June 2nd, Royal Canin
grand opening event on May 15th, signed contract with AKA for the Firehouse Project, Dave
Wickham would like to present some ideas to Council about potential murals and an amphitheater,
needed upgrades for water infiltration at the sewer plant, and work needed on a detention basin in
Apple Valley.
SAFETY: Chief Sewert shared about the upcoming Easter Egg Hunt and starting a fire class.
POLICE: Chief Parker shared about a requested children at play sign on Orchard St. and a recent
incident at LCNB with a fraudulent check.
LIBRARY: Barb Foster shared a flyer regarding the foam party and summer reading.

PARK: Ted Thies shared that trees had been planted, and the next Park Board Meeting will be the
third Monday of the month.
OLD BUSINESS: None.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
MISC. BUSINESS: None
Motion to adjourn. First by Marla Colville-Brown. Second by Jackie Sewert. Roll Call Vote: 5 Yes
0 No. Motion approved. Meeting was adjourned at 7:59 P.M.
