LEWISTON CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA
Notice is hereby given that the Lewiston City Council will hold the regularly scheduled City Council
Meeting on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, in the Lewiston City Club Room at 29 South Main Street,
which will begin promptly at 7:30 p.m. The agenda shall be as follows:
Opening Ceremonies by Councilmember Brooke Hyer
1. Review and approval of minutes from July 18, 2023
2. Public Comments
3. Resolution 23-05 - CVTD Board Apportionment; discussion and vote
4. 2000 South – parking by bridge, speed limit; discussion and possible vote
5. Parking for old bank building discussion
6. Mayor’s Report
• City business
7. Councilmember Departmental Reports
i. Jonna Westover – Water, Sewer, Youth Council.
ii. Brooke Hyer – 4th of July, Cemetery, Events Council
iii. Ned Simper – Roads, Theatre, Library
iv. John Morrison – Planning & Zoning, Economic Development
v. Fizz Bodily – CERT/Emergency Preparedness, Fire Department, Garbage, Parks & Rec.
8. Adjourn to executive session to discuss employees.

A. Time is made available for anyone in the audience to address the council and/or mayor
concerning matters pertaining to Lewiston City business.
B. When a member of the audience addresses the mayor and/or council, they will come to the
microphone and state their name.
C. Residents will be asked to limit their remarks and questions to three minutes.
D. In all cases, the criteria for response will be that comments/questions must be pertinent to
Lewiston City business, that there are no argumentative questions, and no personal attacks.
E. The mayor will inform a citizen when they have used their allotted time.
F. We suggest you schedule a time to meet with the mayor, council member(s) or city staff so
