While a very basic downtown assessment was conducted in 2021 by the Texas Downtown Association (TDA) and the Downtown Revitalization Committee (DRC) has developed an Action Plan and Strategies, A strategic masterplan for the Downtown is warranted to delve deeper into the following Scope of Services (SOS): - Land use and Overlay Recommendations. - Historic Preservation Design Recommendations - Downtown Asset Inventory - Opportunities for Infill - Parking Analysis - Infrastructure gap Analysis and Recommendations - Complete street strategies - Conceptual design for signage for Wayfinding - Alleyway activation and Placemaking - Strategies for Downtown Branding and Identity - Review of Ordinances - Market gap Analysis - Desired Land Use and Intensity Page 1 of 2 4 - Funding strategies and CIP The City sent out Request for Qualifications (RFQ’s) solicitations on February 19, 2023 to approximately 551 vendors.
