INVOCATION Given by Council Member Severs PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Led by Mayor Peterson, City Council, and City Staff CALL TO ORDER Mayor Peterson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. ROLL CALL Mayor Pro Tem Kaminskas Katy Allen, City Administrator Council Member Brickner Ann Swenson, City Clerk Council Member Dunne Sean Boutz, City Attorney Council Member Severs RJ Stevenson, Finance Director Council Member Langford (absent) Brian Asmus, Chief of Police Council Member Kopelson Council Member Moore Mayor Pro Tem Kaminskas moved to excuse Council Member Langford, seconded by Council Member Brickner. Motion carried unanimously. AGENDA APPROVAL Mayor Pro Tem Kaminskas moved to approve the agenda as published. Councilman Brickner seconded the motion, which carried unanimously. CITIZEN COMMENTS Joe Wiberg 1125 N. Tanglewood Lane, Liberty Lake, WA: spoke about wayward golf balls from Trailhead coming by their property. He expressed safety concerns about his home, his family, and people using the walking path in the area. Mr. Wiberg commented the City had already paid for a broken window in his home as a result of golf ball damage. He mentioned that when the claim was filed and the window was replaced, the City’s insurance company indicated it would address the City about heightening the fence. He indicated that was approximately six months ago, and he still has not seen City Council Meeting – June 17, 2014 Page 1
