Head Approval: Mark McAvoy Exhibit(s): None Expenditure Required No Budgeted N/A City Program Long Range Planning Summary Statement Each year, the city invests in various types of infrastructure to achieve long-range community and economic development goals. Examples include streets, buildings, parks, storm drainage, and equipment. As development and growth accelerate and existing infrastructure ages, the city needs a more deliberate capital investment strategy to plan, fund, and deliver capital improvements. City staff will lead a workshop to review various financing tools that may be used to fund the capital budget between 2026 and 2045 while also reviewing several procedural, scheduling, and oversight improvements that are designed to promote efficiency, stewardship, resiliency, and transparency.
