PLANNING COMMISSION SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 2019 Planning Commission Members Present: Phil Folyer, Charles Matthews, Jamie Baird, Tom Sahlberg, Richard Siler, Joshua McKee Adjunct Member(s) Present: N/A Absent: Jesse Fox Staff Present: Lisa Key, Kelsey Wright Call to Order: Meeting was called to order at 3:31 p.m. Roll Call: A quorum of members was present. Review of Agenda & Approval of Minutes: Commissioner Sahlberg moved that the May 8th corrected minutes be approved, seconded by Commissioner Baird. Minutes were approved with all ayes. Workshops: A. Small Cell Code Amendment Workshop: Lisa Key presented the draft ordinance for Small Wireless Facilities Code Amendment, walked through comments received from City Staff, Wireless Providers, and Avista, and explained recommended revisions, in response to comments received on the preliminary draft. Discussion followed regarding the need to certify/recertify small cell facilities. Jason Verduzco with Verizon provided additional information.
