Library Board of Trustees Meeting Agenda Wednesday, November 20, 2019 City Hall 4:30pm Present: Mindy Howard (Trustee), Tom Pauley (Trustee), Tim Olsen (Trustee), Sandi Bishop (Trustee), Jocelyn Redel (Library Director), Holly Woodruff (Guest – President of the Friends of the Liberty Lake Library) 1. Call to Order – The meeting was called to order at 4:30 pm. 2. Comments – There were no comments. a. Public b. Mayor 3. New Business a. Review draft of 2020-2024 Strategic Plan to determine if any changes should be made a. The Board of Trustees, Library Director, and Holly Woodruff reviewed and revised the Mission, Vision, Core Services and Core Values statements. b. The Board voted to adopt the revised Mission, Vision, Core Services and Core Values statement. Motion carried 4-0. c. The Board of Trustees, Library Director, and Holly Woodruff reviewed the remainder of the strategic plan document, noting revisions and comments to share with the consultants. b. Confirm next steps in planning process – Library Director Jocelyn Redel will send the revisions to the consultants. The Board will receive the full deliverables at least a week prior to December 17 for review. c. Determine at which Board meeting we will adopt the Strategic Plan (December or January) – The Library Board will continue to review the strategic plan, and will vote to adopt it when the final draft is received. 4. Adjournment – Meeting was adjourned at 6:15 pm. Next meeting – December 11, 2019, 4:30 pm, City Hall
