MINUTES OF THE PLAN COMMISSION MEETING – MAY 10, 2010 Call to Order Plan Commission meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Village President, Charles Fischer Roll Call PRESENT: President Fischer John Elrick Richard Schevers (6:06) Bill Van Berkel Roy Van Gheem Jerry Verstegen EXCUSED: Bill Peerenboom ALSO PRESENT: Community Development, Director Jim Moes Village Administrator, Chuck Kell Village Clerk, Vicki Schneider Public Appearance for Items Not on the Agenda None Approval of Plan Commission Meeting Minutes – April 5, 2010 Moved by Commissioner Elrick, seconded by Commissioner Van Berkel to approve the minutes of April 5, 2010 as presented. All Ayes - Motion Carried Review/Recommendation – Annexation Petition – Glaser – W2910 Progrant Rd. Commissioner Peerenboom in an email to the Village Clerk indicated he was against the annexation petition. J. Moes stated that the Commission had previously tabled action on the annexation petition and he is recommending that the Commission recommend to the Village Board approval of the annexation contingent on stipulations being worked out with Outagamie County. Moved by Commissioner Elrick, seconded by Commissioner Van Berkel to recommend to the Village Board approval of the Annexation Petition for Glaser at W2910 Progrant Rd. contingent upon an agreement with the County. Further Discussion: Commissioner Verstegen had questions about the property hooking up to utilities and asked if other properties would request to be connected to utilities. Staff stated that the Village is negotiating with the County for payment of running the sewer main to this property and no other properties would be allowed to connect unless they annexed into the Village. Vote on the Motion - All Ayes – Motion Carried Unfinished Business President Fischer thanked John Elrick for his service on the Plan Commission. Trustee Dan Mahlik will be replacing Trustee Elrick.
