MINUTES OF THE PLAN COMMISSION MEETING – JUNE 11, 2012 Call to Order The Plan Commission meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President Vanden Berg Roll Call PRESENT: President Vanden Berg Trustee Jim Hietpas Steve Eggert John Elrick Richard Schevers Bill Van Berkel EXCUSED: Roy Van Gheem ALSO PRESENT: Community Development Director Jim Moes, Village Administrator Charles Kell, Village Clerk Vicki Schneider Public Appearance for Items Not on the Agenda None Approve Minutes of the Plan Commission Meeting of May 14, 2012 Moved by Commissioner Schevers, seconded by Commissioner Van Berkel to approve the minutes of May 14, 2012 as presented. Ayes 5, Nays 0, Abstain 1(Hietpas) – Motion Carried Review/Recommendation – CSM – Scott & Dawn Franzke – 519 E. Lincoln Ave. J. Moes stated the CSM combines the vacant lot with the house lot and the Franzke’s own both parcels and staff is recommending that the Plan Commission recommends approval of the CSM to the Village Board. Moved by Commissioner Elrick, seconded by Commissioner Van Berkel to recommend to the Village Board approval of the CSM for Scott and Dawn Franzke for 519 E. Lincoln Avenue as presented. Ayes 6, Nays 0 – Motion Carried Review/Recommendation – CSM – Cliff & Deborah Peeters – 1421/1423 Buchanan St. J. Moes stated staff is recommending that the Plan Commission recommend approval of the CSM to the Village Board. Moved by Commissioner Elrick, seconded by Commissioner Schevers to recommend to the Village Board approval of the CSM for Cliff & Deborah Peeters for 1421/1423 Buchanan Street. Ayes 6, Nays 0 – Motion Carried Unfinished Business President Vanden Berg introduced new Commissioners, Trustee Jim Hietpas and Steve Eggert.
