Fox Valley Metro Police Department Police Commission Meeting Minutes February 21, 2017 Present: Chuck Rundquist, President Mark Van Thiel, Vice President Bill Van Berkel, Secretary Laurie Verhagen Scott Schommer Excused: Kerry Ruhnke Guest: Chief Erik Misselt, FVMPD The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. Roll call was taken. All members of the commission were present, except for Kerry Ruhnke who was excused. Approval of Minutes A motion was made by Scott Schommer to approve the minutes from the November 10, 2016 meeting, and Mark Van Thiel seconded the motion. The motion carried (4-0). Public Appearances to Address the Police Commission None Chief’s Report None Closed Session A motion was made by Mark Van Thiel and seconded by Scott Schommer to adjourn to closed session. (4 – 0) Bill Van Berkel made a motion to come out of closed session, and it was seconded by Laurie Verhagen. (4 – 0) Commission President Communications None. The next Police Commission meeting will take place at the call of the Chief of Police and Commission President. Adjournment A motion to adjourn was made by Mark Van Thiel, seconded by Scott Schommer.
