Gloudemans, seconded by T. Wegand to Approve the Minutes of October 24, 2017 All Ayes – Motion Carried Action—2018 MCO Contract Renewal Administrator Fenlon presented documents for the 2018 MCO Contract Renewal and recommended approval. Moved by T. Bevers, seconded by J. Schultz for Renewal of 2018 MCO Contract All Ayes – Motion Carried Discussion—2018 Budget Discussion Director Matheny presented documents for the Utility Budgets and information on the 2018 Budget. Discussion—Draft Ordinance for Lead Services J. Verstegen, MCO presented information on the new Ordinance being drafted for Lead Services. This was discussion only and more information will be presented at the January Meeting. Progress Reports MCO Operations Update J. Verstegen, MCO updated progress on Well repairs and that Meter Change Outs are wrapping up. There are only about 25 homes that have not responded to notices on Meter Changes. Director of Public Works Director Elrick presented the Monthly Report. Finance Director Director Matheny advised that the Budget Meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Approval of Vouchers Moved by T. Bevers, seconded by K. Coffey to Approve and Authorize payment of the vouchers and draw from the respective funds All Ayes – Motion Carried Unfinished Business None Items for Future Agenda Lead Service Ordinance - January Adjournment Moved by J. Engineering Design Notes: Downtown Storm Sewer Project 2018 Design continues for the 42-inche diameter storm pipe From McKinley Avenue to Main Street to serve redevelopment in the downtown area. This project will have approximately 1,428 feet of storm sewer installed. Review of Street & Utility Plans for Private Development The start of Golden Gate Drive is expected to begin in January. A pre-construction meeting was held on January 4th for this project. As soon as the WDNR permit for Erosion Control is received the project may begin for public utility construction for storm, sanitary, and water main. 2018 Utility Projects Utility Reconstruction: Daytona Lane – minor storm inlet reconstruction Wilson Street – storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water main and will include service laterals for all three utilities Hayes Street – storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and will include service laterals for storm and sanitary sewers and include reconnection to existing water service laterals
