05-2014 code concerning court-appointed defense counsel
Ordinance 05-2014 was approved on first reading on the consent agenda.
e) Resoluton Resolution 29 approving the Funding Agreement with the Regional
29-2014 Transportation District for Shopping Cart funding
Resoluton 29-2014 was approved on the consent agenda.
f) Resolution Resolution 30 approving an Intergovernmental Agreement for School

Resolution 30-2014 was approved on the consent agenda.
g) Resoluton Resolution 31 approving the termination of an annexation agreement

Resoluton 31-2014 was approved on the consent agenda.
Approval of the Consent Agenda
A motion was made by Council Member Stein, seconded by Council Member
Cole, to approve the consent agenda. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 7- Mayor Cernanec, Mayor Pro-Tem Beckman, Council Member Brinkman, Council
Member Cole, Council Member Stahlman, Council Member Stein and Council
Member Valdes
Item removed from the Consent Agenda:
a) Ordinance Ordinance 3 on second reading amending chapter 4 of title 8 and
03-2014 sections 1-6-8, 2-3-1 and 10-5-7 of the city code concerning trees.
A motion was made by Council Member Stein, seconded by Council Member
Cole, that the Ordinance 3 on second reading amending chapter 4 of title 8 and
sections 1-6-8, 2-3-1 and 10-5-7 of the city code concerning trees be approved.
The motion carried the following vote:
Aye: 7- Mayor Cernanec, Mayor Pro-Tem Beckman, Council Member Brinkman, Council
Member Cole, Council Member Stahlman, Council Member Stein and Council
Member Valdes

A motion was made by Council Member Brinkman, seconded by Council Member
Stein, that the Ordinance 8 on second reading amending section 1-3-2 of the city
code to add a new definition for minutes be approved. The motion carried by the
following vote:
Aye: 4- Mayor Cernanec, Council Member Brinkman, Council Member Stahlman and
Council Member Stein
Nay: 3- Mayor Pro-Tem Beckman, Council Member Cole and Council Member Valdes
