• The LED lighting project is progressing, and an electrical engineer contractor has begun working on designs to
send to facilities. When the designs are finished and delivered to the facilities, the library will have a better idea of
when the lighting replacements can start.
• A new public printer is being bought, and Yvette and Bobbi will meet with the printer company's vendor to discuss
the possibility of wireless printing. Having laptops available for quick printing will serve as a backup plan if the
option is not available.
Staff & Volunteers:
• Elyse Coleman, our librarian, is the newest member of the Lodi Public Library's staff.
Continuing Education & Meetings:
• In order to reestablish the partnership between the two organizations, Director Manuel met with the World of
Wonders Science Museum representatives. Additionally, future grant proposals will be worked on in collaboration
as well.

F-5 Change Money Market Checking Account to Bank of Stockton – Director Manuel
• The director researched the Bank of Stockton and F&M bank at the request of the trustees to determine which
bank had a lower minimum balance without a service fee charge. The trustees then inquired as to what the
minimum balance for PNC would be in order to avoid a service charge and whether the board would continue to
use PNC if it fell below the amount requested by the Bank of Stockton. To avoid service fee charges, PNC requires
an additional $1,000. In addition to what the trustees asked for, the directors recommend that they vote to approve
three actions. These actions would include closing the PNC checking account, approving the sale of $2,500 worth
of shares by Philips Financial, and opening and funding a new business money marketing account with the Bank of
Stockton.

F-6 Upcoming Library Closure dates for December and early January 2023 –– Yvette Herrera
