CITY OF LOGANVILLE
Regular Council Meeting
Thursday, February 12, 2015 7:30pm
Present: Mayor Dan Curry and Council Members Chuck Bagley, Skip Baliles, Mark Kiddoo and Rey
Martinez
Call to Order @ 7:32pm
1. Adoption of the Agenda - motion to adopt removing items 4 and 6 from the consent agenda and
placing them under their respective departments. Motion carried 4-0.
2. Consent Agenda - Motion and second to approve. Motion carried 4-0.
3. Election of Vice Mayor - Nomination to appoint Chuck Bagley and Nomination to appoint Mark
Kiddoo as Vice Mayor.
Vote was Chuck Bagley and Skip Baliles in favor of Chuck Bagley and Mark Kiddoo and Rey Martinez in
favor of Mark Kiddoo. Mayor Curry broke the tie in favor of Mark Kiddoo.
4. Three Year Agreement Engagement – Resended. Carried 4-0.
5. FYE 6/30/2015 Audit Engagement Letter - Motion to allow the Mayor to sign the Engagement Letter
with CLHP to perform the Audit for FYE 6/30/2015. Motion carried 4-0.
6. Litter Ordinance Amendment – Tabled until March. Carried 4-0.
6. Fire Truck Financing Resolution - Motion to allow the Mayor the authority to sign any and all
documents necessary to complete the transaction. Motion carried 4-0.
7. Economic Incentive Policy for Small Businesses – Tabled until March. Carried 4-0
8. HB 170 Resolution presented by Chuck Bagley - Motion to approve. Motion carried 4-0.
9. HB 170 Resolution presented by Bill Jones - Motion to approve. Motion carried 4-0.
10. Real Estate Matters - Motion to allow City Manager Bill Jones the authority to negotiate transactions
as discussed in Executive Session held on Monday, February 9, 2015. Motion approved 4-0.
