MINUTES CITY OF LOGANVILLE Called Council Meeting Wednesday, September 19, 2018 7pm Council Chambers The City of Loganville Mayor and Council met for a Called Council Meeting on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 7pm in the Council Chambers. Mayor Rey Martinez and Council Members Skip Baliles, Jay Boland, Linda Dodd, Danny Ford, Anne Huntsinger and Lisa Newberry were presented. Mayor Rey Martinez called the meeting to order at 7:03pm. Council Member Anne Huntsinger made a motion to adopt the agenda as presented. Council Member Danny Ford seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. City Attorney Robyn Webb presented the Intergovernmental Agreement between the City and the Loganville Development Authority to the council. Ms. Webb explained the termination provision. There was much discussion regarding the term of the termination provision. After much discussion, Council Member Lisa Newberry made a motion to adopt the IGA with the LDA to include the changes to the term of the agreement providing for a 6 month term automatically renewable every 6 months after the initial 6 month period with a 30 day termination clause up to 5 years. Council Member Linda Dodd seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. Council Member Anne Huntsinger made a motion to authorize the Mayor and City Manager to sign any quit claim deeds as provided for under the terms of the IGA with the LDA. Council Member Danny Ford seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. Council Member Skip Baliles made a motion to close the meeting. Council Member Danny Ford seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. Council Member Danny Ford made a motion to go into Executive Session. Council Member Anne Huntsinger seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. Council Member Jay Boland made a motion to open Executive Session. Council Member Lisa Newberry seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. Council Member Lisa Newberry made a motion to close Executive Session. Council Member Linda Dodd seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0. Council Member Danny Ford made a motion to re-open the meeting. Council Member Skip Baliles seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
