CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES Monday, January 08, 2024 at 6:20 PM Council Chambers 1. OATH OF OFFICE A. Bill DuVall, Lisa Newberry, Patti Wolfe Probate Judge Bruce Wright gave the oath of office to Council Members Bill DuVall, Lisa Newberry and Patti Wolfe. 2. CALL TO ORDER Mayor Skip Baliles called the meeting to order at 6:30pm. A. Roll Call PRESENT Mayor Skip Baliles Council Member Bill DuVall Council Member Anne Huntsinger Council Member Melanie Long Council Member Lisa Newberry Council Member Branden Whitfield Council Member Patti Wolfe B. Approval of Agenda Motion made by Council Member Huntsinger, Seconded by Council Member Whitfield. Voting Yea: Council Member DuVall, Council Member Huntsinger, Council Member Long, Council Member Newberry, Council Member Whitfield, Council Member Wolfe. Motion carried 6-0. 3. PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE REPORT 4. FINANCE / HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE REPORT A. Approval of Election Invoice - Walton County Board of Commissioners $28,633.11 **Consent Agenda for Thursday** 5. PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE REPORT A. ITEMS FOR THURSDAY NIGHT A. 12-14-2023 Combined City Council Work Session & Council Meeting Minutes **Consent Agenda for Thursday** B. December Financial Report **Consent Agenda for Thursday** 13. PUBLIC COMMENT Public Comments are limited to five minutes per speaker unless additional time is given by the Mayor. Each speaker should approach the podium and state their name and address for the record. All public comments are to be directed to the Mayor and Council and not the audience. Public Comments should follow general rules of appropriate decorum. The following individuals addressed the Mayor and Council. - Larry Combs 747 Jacoby Drive - Cathy Lipert 720 Jacoby Drive - Terry Chupp 735 Jacoby Drive - Janice Tribble 256 Teresa Lane - Council Member Lisa Newberry 14. ADJOURNMENT Motion made by Council Member Huntsinger, Seconded by Newberry. Voting Yea: Council Member DuVall, Council Member Huntsinger, Council Member Long, Council Member Newberry, Council Member Whitfield, Council Member Wolfe. Motion carried 6-0. Meeting adjourned at 7:01pm.

ADJOURNMENT *Denotes Non-Budgeted Items subject to Reserve Funds The Mayor and Council may choose to go into executive session as needed in compliance with Georgia Law. The City of Loganville reserves the right to make changes to the agenda as necessary. Any additions and/or corrections to the agenda will be posted immediately at City Hall.
