Planning and Zoning Commission Meeting

City of Loganville Planning & Development Planning Commission “CALLED” Public Hearing Municipal Council Chambers 4303 Lawrenceville Road Thursday, October 31, 2019 • 3:30 p.m. ATTENDANCE: Planning & Development Director, Tim Prater; Planning Commission Chairwoman, Janice Tribble; Planning Commissioners, Bruce Granoff, Amanda Soesbe, Richard Homick, Barbara Forrester and Admin. Assistant II, Angela Page recorded the minutes. Katherine Self and Melisa Arnold were absent. MEETING CALLED TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 3:05 p.m. Invocation was given by Janice Tribble followed by the pledge of allegiance. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A motion was made by Richard Homick and seconded by Bruce Granoff to approve the minutes from the October 24, 2019 Planning Commission meeting. Motion carried 4-0. BUSINESS: Case # R19-012 – Rezone 4280 Lawrenceville Road from R22 to CH for the use of office space. Chairwoman Janice Tribble turned the floor over to Tim Prater to read the case number. Barbara Jean Gallman spoke to the Planning Commission in regards to her desire for the future use of the property. Barbara Forrester inquired as to where the entrance would be? Mrs. Gallman stated that she has been working closely with GDOT to approve an entrance on Lawrenceville Road to keep congestion away from the red light/intersection. No further questions were asked by the Planning Commission members. A motion was made to approve the Rezone by Amanda Soesbe and seconded by Barbara Forrester. Motion carried 4-0. ADJOURN - A motion was made by Barbara Forrester and seconded by Bruce Granoff to adjourn. Meeting adjourned at 3:11pm.
