Box 338 - Lone Rock, WI 53556 608-583-0088 Village Board Meeting Minutes 09-Jan-2024 Roll Call The roll call confirmed the attendance of Mary Litviak, Steve Morgenson, Harry Pulvermacher, Brandon Bindl, Adam Reno, with Dan Quinn excused. Also in attendance: Esther Marshall, Chris Conner, Christa Quinn, Brad Seymour, Sandra Creasey, Theresa Jensen, Loren Glasbrenner, Brandy Dosch. Zoom: Linda Schwanke, Pat Christianson. Approve Agenda Harry Pulvermacher made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Brandon Bindl and approved without opposition. Approve 12/12/2023 Minutes. Steve Morgenson made a motion to approve December 12, 2023, minutes, seconded by Mary Litviak and approved without opposition. Information Regarding April 2, 2024, Referendum Election A presenter, District Administrator Loren Glassbrenner, provided an overview of upcoming referendum questions regarding capital for River Valley School Board and its implications on district facilities. Key areas include safety, security, ADA compliance, and discussion of a potential performing arts center. Operational referendums were also mentioned as a separate matter for future consideration. Town of Spring Green invoice on the Kennedy Road TRI-D Project Discussion of an invoice from the Town of Spring Green for the Kennedy Road TRI-D project took place. The final cost was significantly higher than anticipated due to additional material needs and paving requirements. The motion was made by Harry Pulvermacher, seconded by Steve Morgenson, to pay the invoice in the increased amount of $56,580.90. Motion carried. Temporary Liquor License for March 2nd for Cabin Fever A motion was made by Harry Pulvermacher, approving a temporary liquor license for Cabin Fever, seconded by Mary Litviak. Approved without opposition. Fire District No update was provided since there was no meeting held prior to the village meeting. EMS A report was given on various EMS activities and requests, including a reimbursement for donated funds and planned training for EMS personnel. Police Statistics were shared for police activity, including twenty-six calls managed and five citations issued. Library The library reported visitor figures for December and for the year overall, highlighting steady patronage and community engagement through various events and story times. Public Works Department There was no update from the Public Works Department. Public Input Community events and meetings were announced, including the cancellation of the Plan Commission meeting, but no further public input was given. Next Board Meeting The next board meeting will take place on February 13, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the Village Office.
