1. 26-55659 Recommendation to approve the minutes for the Commission for Women and Girls
meeting of Wednesday, June 24, 2026.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
2. 26-55660 Recommendation to receive and file a presentation on the Annual Update from the
Office of Ethics and Transparency.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
3. 26-55661 Recommendation to discuss and designate Commissioners to represent the
Commission at the Long Beach Jazz Festival on August 1, 2026, and to discuss
event logistics, including booth setup, cleanup, staffing, and tabling shift
assignments.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.

4. 26-55662 Recommendation to receive and file a presentation on the Ralph M. Brown Act
from the Office of the City Attorney.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
5. 26-55663 Recommendation to receive and file a report from current Ad Hoc Committees;
discuss anticipated Ad Hoc Committees for upcoming projects; and, if appropriate,
take action to dissolve or create Ad Hoc Committees.
Suggested Action: Approve recommendation.
