Arnold, Michael W. McCarthy, Jim Thompson and Eric Present: Witten Commissioners Michael Hamilton Absent: SWEARING OF WITNESSES Chairman Thompson referred to Ordinance No. 5232, asked for all people in the audience who planned to give testimony, to stand, and they were sworn in by Elbert Dubose. APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM FEBRUARY 22, 2016 It was moved by Board Member McCarthy and seconded by Board Member Arnold to approve the minutes as submitted. The motion carried 4-1. Board Member Fitzpatrick abstained. 1 OVERVIEW OF THE TRIENNIAL CODE ADOPTION PROCESS-PT. 2 2 CASE NO. C - 7865-04-16 2443 ATLANTIC AVENUE, Sean Hitchcock, Owner, Proj. No. CEAC220605, Council Dist. 6 Administrative Citation Appeal Case Chairman Thompson called for the owner or representative to appear before the Board and the owner Sean Hitchcock 2651 Walnut Ave, Signal Hill, CA 90755, appeared along with Ericka Burton 2651 Walnut Ave, Signal Hill, CA 90755. Staff indicated that as per recent inspection, the property remains in violation. No. CEAC226628, Council Dist. 6 Administrative Citation Appeal Case Chairman Thompson called for the owner or representative to appear before the Board and owner Luis Madrigal 12762 Gloria St, Garden Grove, CA 92843, appeared along with the tenant Rhonda Lowder 1342 Wesley Drive, Long Beach, CA 90806. Staff indicated that as per recent inspection, the property remains in violation. It was moved by Board Member Arnold and seconded by Board Member McCarthy to conclude the hearing, determine that the cited party is the current owner and responsible party of the subject property located at 1342 Wesley Dr., and the violations listed did exist on the date the citation was issued. The appeal is hereby denied.
