REGULAR MEETING
Chairman Thompson opend the meeting at 1:38 p.m. in the Code Enforcement Conference
Room and referred to Ordinance No. C-5232, asked for all persons who planned to give
testimony to stand, raise their right hand, and they were sworn in by Myeesha Ayala.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES FROM FEBRUARY 27, 2017
It was moved by Board Member McCarthy and seconded by Vice-Chairwoman Arnold to
approve the minutes as submitted. The motion carried 6-0.

ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION CASE
Chairman Thompson called for the owner or representative to appear before
the Board and Greg Blackburn, 2356 Knoxville Ave, Long Beach, CA
90815, Owner and Bruce Menke, 5000 E. Spring Street #405, Long Beach,
CA 90815, Owner's Attorney, both appeared before the Board.
It was moved by Vice-Chairwoman Arnold and seconded by Board Member
Witten to conclude the hearing, determine that the appellant is the property
owner and responsible party for the cited violations. The cited violations did
exist on the date the citation was issued.

Staff presented an email request from Mr. Ned Bassin, owner of 339-345 Daisy Avenue, stating
he is currently out of town and unable to attend. He has requested his case be continued to the
May 15, 2017 meeting.
SET DATE FOR NEXT HEARING: APRIL 17, 2017
MOTION FOR ADJOURMENT
It was moved by Board Member McCarthy and seconded by Board Member Witten that the
hearing be adjourned at 2:40 p.m. The motion carried unanimously.
