McCarthy and Charles Whitehead Present: Commissioners Michael Hamilton, Diane L. Arnold and Ethel Powers Excused: CALL TO ORDER Chairman Thompson opened the meeting at 1:36 p.m. in the Code Enforcement Room. SWEARING OF WITNESSES Chairman Thompson referred to Ordinance No. C-5232. asked for all persons who planned to give testimony, to stand, raise their right hand, and they were sworn in by Myeesha Ayala. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES FROM APRIL 16, 2018 It was moved by Board Member McCarthy and seconded by Board member Whitehead to approve the minutes as submitted. 1 CASE NO. 7886-08-18: 249 MOLINO AVENUE; BARRY AND BETSY M. ROTHSTEIN LIVING TRUST, OWNERS, CE CASE NO. CEAC249456, COUNCIL DIST. 2 ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION APPEAL CASE Chairman Thompson called for the owner or representative to appear before the Board and Barry Rothstein, owner of the property, appeared. It was moved by Board member McCarthy and seconded by Board member Witten to refund the citation amount of $200 once the work is finaled. It was also the decision of the Board to continue the case to the hearing on November 5, 2018 if the work is not complete. Karl will be overseeing Code Enforcement until the position is filled.
