ROLL CALL Commissioners Michael Hamilton, Ethel Powers, Charles Whitehead, Eric Witten Present: and Jim Thompson Commissioners Steve Gerdes and Diane L. Arnold Excused: SWEARING OF WITNESSES Chairman Thompson referred to Ordinance No. 5232, asked for all persons who plan to give testimony, to stand, raise their right hand, and be sworn in by Myeesha Ayala. APPROVAL OF MINUTES 1 Recommendation to approve the minutes from September 16, 2019. It was moved by Board Member Whitehead and seconded by Board Member Powers to approve the minutes as submitted. 2 CASE NO. 7895-12-19: 1540 PARADE STREET: DAVID DAVILA, Page 1 of 3 CITY OF LONG BEACH MONDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2019 BOARD OF EXAMINERS, QUEEN MARY CONFERENCE ROOM APPEALS AND 411 W. CEAC263208 ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION CASE Chairman Thompson called for the owner or representative to appear before the board and David Davila, 1630 W. 19th Street, Long Beach, CA 90810, owner of the property, appeared. It was determined by the boad to conclude the hearing, adopt the findings and determine that the cited party is the current owner and responsible party of the subject property located at 1540 W. Parade Street, and the violations listed did exist on the date the citation was issued. The motion carried unanimously. 3 CASE NO. 7896-12-19: 245 E. ARTESIA BLVD #5: JAIPAL DHIMAN, OWNER; CASE NO. CEPH263265 ADMINISTRATIVE CITATION CASE Chairman Thompson called fot the owner or representative to appear before the board and Jaipal Dhiman, 8513 Browns Creek Ln, Canoga Park, CA 91304, owner of the property, appeared on behalf of the case. It was determined by the board to conclude the hearing, adopt the findings and determine that the cited party is the current owner and responsible party of the subject property located at 245 E. Artesia Blvd., and the violations listed did exist on the date the citation was issued. The motion carried unanimously.
