(District 2) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 9. 17-0342 Recommendation to adopt resolution to submit a grant application to the California Department of Resources Recycling and Recovery, Tire-Derived Product Grant Program, for the resurfacing of park playgrounds at Drake, Jackson, Los Cerritos, Veterans, and Whaley Parks; accept grant funding in an amount up to $16,893; and execute all documents necessary to accept the funds and implement the projects. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 12. 17-0345 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute an agreement, and any subsequent amendments, with the City of Westminster for the use of the Westminster Police Range and Safety Training Center, in an amount not to exceed $28,000, for a term through December 31, 2017. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 13. 17-0346 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute an agreement, and any subsequent amendments, with the County of San Bernardino for use of the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department’s Weapons Firing Range Facilities, in an amount not to exceed $2,000, for a term through June 30, 2017, with the option to renew for an additional one-year period, in an annual amount not to exceed $11,040.
