A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 9. 17-0868 Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Stipulations with Request for Award for approval by the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $172,042.50 for Stipulations with Request for Award with a life pension thereafter of $154.61 per week in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Tim O'Hara. (formerly known as “FIS”), of Franklin, TN, to continue payment processing for City services, to increase the contract amount by $163,000, plus a 15 percent contingency of $24,450, for an annual amount not to exceed $187,450, and, extend the contract term to October 30, 2019. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 18. 17-0849 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute the Twenty-First Amendment to Lease No. 22897 with Jan and Michael Todd for the sale of Christmas trees, using a portion of the former Pacific Electric Right-of-Way property located between 7th Street and Ximeno Avenue; extend the lease for a period of three months, from October 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017; add two, one-year renewal options for the same three-month period in 2018 and 2019, at the discretion of the City Manager; and, amend the rent provision in the lease. (District 1) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 24. 17-0852 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute a Third Amendment to Contract No. 33263 with AndersonPenna Partners, Inc., of Newport Beach, CA, for project management services for the Belmont Plaza Pool Facility Rebuild/Revitalization Project, to extend the contract term for an additional two-year period ending October 1, 2019. (District 3) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 25. 17-0856 Recommendation to find that all requirements of the final subdivision map for the construction of a four-story, 56-unit condominium complex with 40 hotel rooms have been satisfied; approve the final map for Tract No. 68942, located at 2010 East Ocean Boulevard; authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute subdivision agreements; and Accept Negative Declaration ND 24-07.
