A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 7. 18-0414 Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing City Manager, or designee, to submit a grant application to the State Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, Urban and Community Forestry California Climate Investments Grant Program, for urban and community forestry programs in the City; accept said grant, if awarded, in an amount up to $1,260,633 funded by the California Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund; and, execute all documents necessary to accept the funds and implement the programs. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. RES-18-0070 on the Consent Calendar. Enactment No: RES-18-0070 8. 18-0415 Recommendation to adopt Resolution of Intention declaring its intent to grant a limited Natural Gas Franchise with the Southern California Gas Company for the purpose of transmitting and distributing natural gas within the City of Long Beach; and, setting a public hearing for Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at 5:00 p.m., on the proposed extension. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. RES-18-0071 on the Consent Calendar. Enactment No: RES-18-0071 9. 18-0416 Recommendation to receive and file the Investment Report for Quarter Ending March 31, 2018. OCEAN BOULEVARD COUNCIL CHAMBER, 5:00 PM 10. 18-0417 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to enter into an agreement, and any necessary amendments, with the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, for Runway 7R-25L (future 8R-26L) Commissioning Flight Inspection Services, in the amount of $20,458, authorize a 25 percent contingency in the amount of $5,115, for a total amount not to exceed $25,573; and Increase appropriations in the Airport Fund (EF 320) in the Airport Department (AP) by $25,573, offset by funds available. (District 5) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 11. 18-0418 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to accept an easement deed from Bruce D. Golison, Trustee of the Bruce and Margo Golison Trust dated November 3, 1993 as to an undivided 35 and 1/3rd interest and Mark and Jennifer Ann Golison, as community property with right of survivorship as to an undivided 35 and 1/3rd interest and Jay Golison, a married man as his sole and separate property as to an undivided 29 and 1/3rd interest as tenants in common, the owners of the property located at 850 Long Beach Boulevard, for the installation of public utilities; and Accept Categorical Exemption CE-17-220. (District 1) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 12. 18-0419 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute an amendment to Contract No. 34672 with Environmental Construction, Inc., of Woodland Hills, CA, for additional labor costs incurred on the Red Car Greenbelt Project, to increase the contract amount by $40,000, for a revised total amount not to exceed $781,662. (District 3) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 13. 18-0420 Recommendation to adopt Specifications No. RFP TI 17-150 and Page 6 of 14 CITY OF LONG BEACH TUESDAY, MAY 15, 2018 CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 333 W. OCEAN BOULEVARD COUNCIL CHAMBER, 5:00 PM authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute a contract, and any necessary amendments, with Tenable, Inc., of Columbia, MD, through its recommended reseller Optiv, of Denver, CO, to provide and install an Enterprise Vulnerability Scanning System, in the amount of $142,100; authorize a 20 percent contingency in the amount of $28,420, for a total contract amount not to exceed $170,520, for a period of one year, with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods, for an annual amount not to exceed $142,100, at the discretion of the City Manager. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 19. 18-0426 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute a First Amendment to Contract No. 34242 with Plenary Properties Long Beach, LLC, for the design, construction, financing, operation, and maintenance of the new City Hall, Main Library, Port of Long Beach Headquarters Building, and revitalized Lincoln Park, to amend the insurance requirements and any ancillary documents related thereto. (District 2) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. A motion was made by Councilmember Pearce, seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez, that the item be laid over to the City Council Meeting of Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Request staff to implement a pilot decal program within the East Village by applying informational city decals on locked bins distributed from the Locked Bin Program. Councilmember Pearce spoke.
