A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 2. 18-0587 Recommendation to refer to City Attorney damage claims received between July 2, 2018 and July 9, 2018. A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 3. 18-0588 Recommendation to authorize City Prosecutor to execute all necessary documents to receive and expend grant funding awarded to the City Prosecutor by the Long Beach Community Foundation in an amount not to exceed $10,000, and increase appropriation in the General Grants Fund (SR 120) in the City Prosecutor Department (CP) by $10,000, offset by grant revenue. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 5. 18-0590 Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing City Manager, or designee, to execute a contract with Ray Gaskin Service, of Fontana, CA, for the purchase of New Way, Perkins, and Wayne brand refuse truck parts and repair services, in an annual amount of $275,000, and authorize a 10 percent contingency in the amount of $27,500, for a total annual contract amount not to exceed $302,500, for a period of two years, with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods, at the discretion of the City Manager. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. RES-18-0100 on the Consent Calendar. Enactment No: RES-18-0100 6. 18-0591 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute an amendment to Agreement No. 34142 with Allstar Fire Equipment, Inc., of Arcadia, CA, for fire turnouts, to increase the contract amount by $800,000, for a revised total contract amount not to exceed $1,590,000, and to extend the agreement for an additional three months, through December 31, 2018. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 7. 18-0592 Recommendation to receive and file the application of Cinemark USA, Incorporated, dba Cinemark #347, for an original application of an Alcoholic Beverage Control License, at 99 South Pine Avenue. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 9. 18-0594 Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing City Manager, or designee, to execute all necessary documents to receive and expend grant funding from the State of California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control 2018 grant, in the amount of $100,000, for the period of July 1, 2018 to June 30, 2019; and Increase appropriations in the General Grants Fund (SR 120) in the Police Department (PD) by $100,000, offset by reimbursement revenue.
