(District 3) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 7. 19-0466 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute a donation agreement with Beacon for Him, a local nonprofit organization, for donation of a 2006 Ford F-350 truck, formerly used by the Public Works Department Street Maintenance Division, with an estimated value of $2,750, for transportation of homeless individuals and families to local shelters and hotels. OCEAN BOULEVARD COUNCIL CHAMBER, 5:00 PM 8. 19-0467 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to amend Contract No. 33860 with Enterprise FM Trust, dba Enterprise Fleet Management, Inc., of St. Louis, MO, for leasing vehicles for various Police operations, to extend the contract for an additional 12-month period, in the amount by $111,886, with a 10 percent contingency of $11,189, for an annual amount not to exceed $123,075, for a revised total contract amount not to exceed $743,075, including taxes and fees. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 9. 19-0468 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute an agreement, and any subsequent amendments including changing the terms, extending the grant period, or increasing grant amounts, with the California Department of Justice, to receive and expend grant funding in the amount of $556,984, for Tobacco Education and Enforcement activities, for the period of July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2021; and Increase appropriations in the Health Fund Group in the Health and Human Services Department by $556,984, offset by grant revenue. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 10. 19-0469 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter into a Reimbursement Agreement with the Long Beach Unified School District, to reimburse the City of Long Beach an amount not to exceed $70,000 in costs for the Parks, Recreation and Marine Department to provide staffing and other services to conduct a ten-week summer swim program at Belmont Plaza Temporary Pool, Silverado Pool, Cabrillo High School Pool, Jordan High School Pool, and Martin Luther King, Jr. Pool, from June 17, 2019 through August 25, 2019; and Increase appropriations in the General Fund Group by $40,834, and in the Tidelands Operating Fund Group by $9,166 in the Parks, Recreation and Marine Department, offset by reimbursement revenue.
