The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 5 - Supernaw, Mungo, Andrews, Austin and Richardson Absent: 3 - Pearce, Price and Uranga 1. 19-0640 Recommendation to refer to City Attorney damage claims received between June 24, 2019 and July 1, 2019. A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 7 - Pearce, Supernaw, Mungo, Andrews, Uranga, Austin and Richardson Absent: 1 - Price 3. 19-0641 Recommendation to adopt resolution declaring a vacancy in the office of Member of the City Council for the First Councilmanic District and ordering, calling, providing for and giving notice of a Special Municipal Election to be held in the First Councilmanic District in the City of Long Beach on Tuesday, the 5th day of November, 2019, for the purpose of filling the Office of Member of the City Council for the First Councilmanic District for the remainder of the term of office terminating on the 3rd Tuesday of December 2022; and Larry Goodhue spoke. A motion was made by Councilmember Richardson, seconded by Councilwoman Mungo, to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. RES-19-0100. A motion was made by Councilmember Richardson, seconded by Councilwoman Mungo, to approve recommendation and adopt Resolution No. RES-19-0101.
