(Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 6. 21-0245 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute a new Schedule I, Transaction-Based Natural Gas Storage Service Agreement, as part of the long-term Master Services Contract with Southern California Gas Company, for natural gas storage capacity rights. (Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 7. 21-0246 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute an agreement and all necessary documents, subcontracts, and any necessary amendments, including any amendments to the award amount or extending the grant term, with the California Department of Public Health, to receive and expend grant funding in an amount not to exceed $80,000 annually, to fund congenital syphilis prevention and control activities, for the period of January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023; and Increase appropriations in the Health Fund Group in the Health and Human Services Department by $80,000, offset by grant revenue. Enactment No: RES-21-0024 20. 21-0260 Recommendation to adopt resolution condemning the hate incidents, xenophobic rhetoric, and harassments against Asian Pacific Islander Americans ("APIA") and commits to work toward ensuring that APIA feel safe both during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond.
