A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 3. 21-0477 Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit two Stipulations with Request for Award for approval by the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay 1) $120,422.50 and also 2) separate authority to pay $6,960 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Ty D'amico. A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 4. 21-0478 Recommendation to authorize City Attorney to submit Stipulations with Request for Award for approval by the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board, and if so approved, authority to pay $72,500 in compliance with the Appeals Board Order for Jesus Fragoso. Joh Construction, Inc., of Paramount, CA, to increase the contract amount by $233,061, for a revised total contract amount not to exceed $2,796,727, for unforeseen construction on the North Health Facility Tenant Improvements Project. CONTINUED HEARING (5:32 PM) 11. 21-0417 Recommendation to adopt resolution allowing for the initiation of a Consolidated Coastal Development Permit process pursuant to Section 30601.3 of the Public Resources Code (Coastal Act) in connection with the realignment of Shoreline Drive as part of the Shoemaker Bridge Replacement Project; and Oscar Orci, Director of Development Services, spoke.
