(Citywide) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 11. 22-0321 Recommendation to authorize City Manager, or designee, to execute any necessary documents to enter into two agreements, including any necessary subsequent amendments, with Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP, of Milwaukee, WI, for fire alarm monitoring services for the new Checked Baggage Inspections System building and the Ticketing building at the Long Beach Airport, in an annual amount of $2,000, for a period of one year with two consecutive one year periods, for a total agreement amount not to exceed $6,000, over three years. (District 1) A motion was made to approve recommendation on the Consent Calendar. 13. 22-0323 Recommendation to receive the application of Dion & Sons Marine Fuels, Incorporated, dba Alamitos Bay Marina Fuel Dock, for an original application of an Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) License, at 227 North Marina Drive; submit a Public Notice of Protest to ABC; and direct City Manager to withdraw the protest if a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) is granted. The scope of the study session should include reviews of SERRF’s incineration process, operational costs, energy production, recycling capabilities, greenhouse gas emissions, and possible alternatives. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 9 - Allen, Price, Supernaw, Mungo, Saro, Uranga, Austin, Richardson and Zendejas 25. 22-0334 Recommendation to adopt resolution authorizing City Manager, or designee, to execute a contract, and any necessary documents, including any necessary amendments, with Crafco, Inc., of Chandler, AZ, for furnishing and delivering as-needed roadway maintenance equipment, materials, and supplies, on the same terms and conditions afforded to Sourcewell, in an annual amount of $1,000,000, with a 20 percent contingency in the amount of $200,000, for a total annual contract amount not to exceed $1,200,000, until the Sourcewell contract expires on October 11, 2025, with the option to renew for as long as the Sourcewell contract is in effect, at the discretion of the City Manager.
