Potential locations for onsite solar panels/PV cells include the rooftop of the office and installation of solar carport canopies above the proposed parking spots along the southern most portion of Harbor Avenue. Providing battery storage for the solar PV system to support and power onsite energy uses is highly encouraged; [2] (a) clarify that the development must post a clearly-legible sign on the exterior of construction fencing with a phone number of who to call for a construction site complaints or issues coordinator; (b) upon completion of construction, the developer shall also post a clearly-legible sign on the exterior of the wrought iron fencing with the phone number of a complaint/issues coordinator/manager responsible for managing truck and equipment idling; and (c) be sure the condition clearly reflects the truck idling restriction placed on the project; [3] the applicant, and potential landscaping contracts for the subject property, shall utilize electric lawn and garden equipment, outdoor power equipment, and other small equipment to eliminate the worsened air quality impact of gasoline-powered and combustion engine equipment onsite for landscape management and site maintenance; [4] the applicant shall make best efforts to work with Pacific Gateway Workforce Investment Network (PGWIN) to employ locally, provide internships and/or educational opportunities for students to explore the green freight industry as a career; [5] a traffic impact analysis must be prepared for this project, under the supervision and approval of a registered Traffic Engineer in the State of California (Engineer’s stamp required) and submitted for review to Public Works prior to issuance of a building permit. In addition, any physical street improvements must include a scaled drawing stamped by a registered Civil Engineer in the State of California.
