Alejandro Plascencia, Planner spoke. 18-039CH Signing of Certificates of Appreciation on behalf of the Cultural Heritage Commission, in support of the restoration of the historic Millard Sheets mosaic mural located at 249 E. Ocean Blvd. A motion was made by Commissioner Irvine, seconded by Commissioner van Dijs, to withdrawn. Alejandro Plascencia, Planner presented the staff report. 2 18-036CH A Certificate of Appropriateness request for a one-story 422 square-foot addition to the rear of an existing one-story single-family dwelling, and the demolition of an existing one-car garage to construct a new detached 361 square-foot two-car garage. The property is located at 826 Dawson Avenue and is a contributing structure in the Rose Park Historic District.
