Price, Vice Chair Roberto Uranga, Member FINISHED AGENDA & MINUTES CALL TO ORDER (12:41 PM) At 12:41 PM, Chair Mungo called the meeting to order. ROLL CALL (12:41 PM) Councilmembers Mungo, Price and Uranga Present: Also present: Michael Mais, Assistant City Attorney; Michael Conway, Business and Property Development Director; Carolyn Hill, City Clerk Specialist. REGULAR AGENDA (12:41 PM) 1. 14-0879 Recommendation to approve the minutes of the Economic Development and Finance Committee meeting held Tuesday, April 1, 2014. A motion was made by Member Uranga, seconded by Vice Chair Price, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 3 - Mungo, Price and Uranga 2. 14-0880 Recommendation to discuss staff's report on economic goals, discuss possible changes to economic development policies, and the City's current sales tax resolution. Michael Conway, Business and Property Development Director, spoke; and introduced Lea Eriksen, Budget Management Bureau Manager, who presented a PowerPoint presentation. A dialogue ensued between Chair Mungo and Michael Conway, Business and Property Development Director. Chair Mungo spoke. A motion was made by Vice Chair Price, seconded by Member Uranga, to forward to City Council to consider changes to the Sales Tax Resolution, including consolidating the current resolutions into a single resolution and clarifying the appropriate staff and officials who should have access to this information.
