1. 15-0153 Recommendation to approve the minutes for the Economic
Development and Finance Committee meeting held Friday,
December 19, 2014.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Price, seconded by Chair
Mungo, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the
following vote:
Yes: 2 - Mungo and Price
Absent: 1 - Uranga
2. 15-0154 Recommendation to receive and file Economic Development and
Finance Committee pending legislative files 2005 through 2013, as
of December 10, 2013.

Mungo, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the
following vote:

3. 15-0155 Recommendation to receive and file a report on transportation
network companies (TNCs), and concur with recommendation
and/or provide direction to staff.
Michael Conway, Director of Economic and Property Development, spoke;
and introduced Seyron Foo, Management Assistant, who presented the
staff report.
Motion: Approve recommendation.

on-premises freeway oriented electronic signs.

establishment of a citywide Veterans Affairs Commission, pursuant
to Long Beach Municipal Code Section 2.03.075 and as approved
by the City Council on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, for review and
forward Committee comments and/or recommendation back to the
City Council for consideration.
