1. 15-0450 Recommendation to approve the minutes of the Economic
Development and Finance Committee meeting held Tuesday, April
21, 2015.
A motion was made by Vice Chair Price, seconded by Member
Uranga, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the
following vote:

2. 15-0357 Recommendation to receive and file a report on quarterly business
and economic indicators for Long Beach during the first quarter of

Uranga, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the

3. 15-0358 Recommendation to receive and file discussion pertaining to an
update on a sales tax participation agreement with and a freeway
oriented electronic sign upgrade proposal from Worthington Ford.

4. 15-0157 Recommendation to receive a fiscal impact analysis report on the
establishment of a citywide Veterans Affairs Commission, pursuant
to Long Beach Municipal Code Section 2.03.075 and as approved
by the City Council on Tuesday, November 11, 2014, for review and
forward Committee comments and/or recommendation back to the
City Council for consideration.
