OCEAN BOULEVARD COMMITTEE MINUTES COUNCIL CHAMBER, 4:00 PM Rex Richardson, Chair Stacy Mungo, Vice Chair Lena Gonzalez, Member FINISHED AGENDA & DRAFT MINUTES CALL TO ORDER (4:05 PM) At 4:05 PM, Chair Richardson called the meeting to order. ROLL CALL (4:05 PM) Councilmembers Richardson and Mungo Present: Councilmembers Gonzalez Absent: Also present: Charles Parkin, City Attorney; Diana Tang, Manager of Government Affairs; Carolyn Hill, City Clerk Specialist. REGULAR AGENDA (4:05 PM) 1. 14-0972 Recommendation to approve the minutes for the Federal Legislation Committee meeting held Wednesday, December 4, 2013. A motion was made by Vice Chair Mungo, seconded by Chair Richardson, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 2 - Richardson and Mungo Absent: 1 - Gonzalez 2. 14-0973 Recommendation to receive and file a report on the 2014 Federal Legislative Session. A motion was made by Vice Chair Mungo, seconded by Chair Richardson, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 2 - Richardson and Mungo Absent: 1 - Gonzalez 3. 14-0974 Recommendation to receive and file a report on Government Affairs by the Numbers for FY 14. Diana Tang, Manager of Government Affairs, presented the staff report. Vice Chair Mungo spoke. A motion was made by Vice Chair Mungo, seconded by Chair Richardson, to approve recommendation. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 2 - Richardson and Mungo Absent: 1 - Gonzalez 4. 14-0975 Recommendation to receive and file a report on HR 5624 (Lowenthal), the Multimodal and Sustainable Freight Infrastructure Act. The motion carried by the following vote: Yes: 2 - Richardson and Mungo Absent: 1 - Gonzalez 5. 14-0976 Recommendation to receive and file staff recommendations for the City's 2015 Federal Legislative Agenda, and forward the Federal Legislation Committee's recommendations to the City Council for adoption.
