PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Adriana Bowerman, Molina Healthcare. Natalie Swit, Community Member with Temple of Israel Long Beach. James Shuford, Community Member. Committee Member Graeber joins the meeting at 3:39 p.m 4. NEW BUSINESS 19-004HS Recommendation to receive and file a presentation on Housing Development by Patrick Ure, Housing and Neighborhood Services Bureau Manager Attachments: February 6.2019 HSAC Presentation.pdf Presentation on Housing Development: Patrick Ure, Housing and Neighborhood Services Bureau Manager Shannon Parker, Homeless Services Officer, introduced Patrick Ure, Housing and Neighborhood Services Bureau Manager, who provided a PowerPoint presentation on housing developments in the City of Long Beach. Ure answered questions pertaining to the presentation. A copy of the presentation was made part of the permanent record. Discussion ensued among the committee members regarding the item above. Vice Chair Kripp retires from the meeting at 3:48 p.m. Vice Chair Kripp rejoins the meeting at 3:52 p.m HSAC Annual Report Ad Hoc Chair Johnson confirmed the following Ad Hoc Members to work on the HSAC Annual Report: Chair Johnson, Vice Chair Kripp and Committee Page 2 of 4 CITY OF LONG BEACH WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2019 HOMELESS SERVICES LONG BEACH MULTI-SERVICE CENTER ADVISORY COMMITTEE 1301 W. 12TH STREET, CONFERENCE ROOM, MINUTES 3:30 PM Member Howat. The Ad Hoc will be meeting on Monday, February 11 at 3 p.m. to work on the report. Committee Member Redfield retires from the meeting at 4:46 p.m. Committee Member Redfield rejoins the meeting at 4:48 p.m 5. HOMELESS SERVICES OFFICER’S REPORT Shannon Parker, Homeless Services Officer, and Elsa Ramos, Special Projects Coordinator provided an overview on the following items: · Continuum of Care Award · Homeless Count Recap · Year Round Shelter Update · Motel Voucher Pilot Program · Dispatch Pilot Program · Measure H Update · Form 700 Reminder Discussion ensued among the committee members regarding the items above. Committee Member Wilson retires from the meeting at 4:56 p.m. Committee Member Wilson rejoins the meeting at 4:58 p.m. Committee Member Redfield retires from the meeting at 5:21 p.m. Committee Member Redfield rejoins the meeting at 5:23 p.m 6. DISTRICT REPORTS FROM HOMELESS SERVICES ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERS Committee Member Wilson reported that Council District 9 had a new Quality of Life Officer. 7. FUTURE AGENDA ITEM March: Brown Act Refresher provided by Sarah Green, Deputy City Attorney April: Interjurisdictional Coordination May: Disaster Planning June: Bethune Transitional Center 8.
